This catalog includes a very interesting collection of ephemera related to Mr. Ira Licht (1938-2023). Mr. Licht was a former director of UM's Lowe Art Museum. He was educated in Columbia College in art history. He was appointed as a professor at University of Rochester before becoming curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and collaborator with MOMA in NY. We are also including a group of vintage/antique collectibles, original photos by Andr? de Dienes, antique silver coins, historical photographs and ephemera mainly related to the American Aviation and more. The provenance of these items are mainly from traditional dealers and collectors. Many times similar pieces as we are offering in this sale are found in museums around the world. Following our tradition for more than 13 years, once again Artelisted offers an eclectic catalog with valuable objects that are waiting to be discovered by collectors.
