SCNY Fall Auction II, Oct 23, 7:30 PM EST
Salmagundi Club
Salmagundi Club is home to the oldest continuous art auction in New York, held each spring and fall since the late 1870's. In the past, the historic auctions, along with pledges from patron members, brought in enough money to purchase the beautiful building that the Salmagundi Club calls home today. The auctions are and always have been an integral part of the club as a fundraising effort.
This year, the live auction, held in Salmagundi's skylight gallery, will be divided into two evenings: a session on Thursday, October 16 and another on Thursday, October 23, both at 7:30 PM (must be RSVP-ed separately via salmagundi.org). Come see an early sneak peak of what?s in store by viewing a preview exhibit of the auction works at our physical location beginning Tuesday, September 30. The preview will be available to see in the Club building for the entire duration of the exhibition until the auction.
Those who cannot join us in-person have the option of registering your bids online here via LiveAuctioneers. The bids will be accounted for when the items go up for bidding during the auction dates.
