Alderfer Auction?s Collectors Day 2 sale offers Asian antiquities, fine and decorative arts, and historic items spanning centuries and cultures. The Japanese collection features Meiji era cloisonne and Satsuma pottery by Namikawa Yasuyuki, Seikozan, Yabu Meizan, and the Naruse Seishi Tohaku-en workshop, along with a bronze elephant by Sano Takachika, and carved okimono. Chinese works include Qing and Republic porcelain, jade carvings, and a large group of snuff bottles. Tibetan thangkas, ukiyo-e woodblock prints, and an Anglo-Indian kutch tankard broaden the Asian offerings.
