The sale includes a stunning selection of jewellery by award-winning designer Roger Doyle. Renowned for his work in both jewellery and silverware, some of his pieces are held in the prestigious collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum. Roger Doyle began his career at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London, undertaking a pre-apprenticeship course that led to a five-year apprenticeship at Cartier starting in 1963.A key milestone in Doyle's career was his collaboration with Louis Osman on the creation of the Investiture Crown for the then HRH Prince of Wales, now King Charles III. He also worked closely with celebrated engraver Malcolm Appleby.
