Payment Payment will be taken automatically as soon as invoices are sent out. Bridge’s Auction does not accept PayPal, BidPay, or Western Union. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash and cashier’s checks are available for local pickups. Credit card payments are subject to a payment processing fee. Failure to remit payment within seven (7) days may result in a payment dispute being filed, regardless of prior arrangements. A buyer’s premium of 25% is added to the final hammer price. Purchases may be subject to applicable state sales tax, unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is provided, or items are shipped out of state by a licensed carrier in accordance with tax regulations. Shipping & Collection Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. As a courtesy, once payment is received, Bridge’s Auction will automatically transfer eligible items (excluding furniture and oversized items) to a third-party shipper. The shipper will contact the buyer directly with packing and shipping quotes. Shipping estimates are not provided prior to full payment, unless Live Shipping is selected. Unless other arrangements are made, items will be delivered to a licensed shipping facility at Bridge’s Auction’s discretion, and all packing, shipping, and insurance charges are paid directly to the shipper. Property Pick-Up Local pickup is available by appointment only after full payment has been received. No walk-ins are permitted. Buyers must schedule a pickup appointment in advance and arrive within the approved time window. Collection address will be provided post sale. All property must be collected or shipping arrangements completed within fourteen (14) days of the sale. Items not removed within this timeframe may incur storage fees of $5 per day per lot. Items left beyond thirty-one (31) days may be disposed of to recover storage, labor, and related costs unless prior written arrangements have been made. Bridge’s Auction assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to property left on the premises after the sale. Buyers are solely responsible for compliance with U.S. export laws and foreign import regulations. Delays or denial of export or import licenses do not relieve the buyer of payment obligations. Terms & Conditions All property is sold “as is, where is." Bridge’s Auction and its consignors make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding description, authenticity, attribution, provenance, age, origin, condition, or fitness for a particular purpose. Any condition statement provided is an opinion only and should not be relied upon as a statement of fact. Buyers are encouraged to review all photographs carefully and request additional information prior to bidding. Some lots may be offered subject to a confidential reserve, agreed upon between the consignor and Bridge’s Auction. The auctioneer may execute reserve bids on behalf of the consignor and reserves the right to reject any bid or advance not commensurate with the value of the lot. The highest bidder, as determined by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In the event of a disputed bid, the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and may include reopening, reoffering, or withdrawing the lot. If a purchaser fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions, including failure to remit full payment, Bridge’s Auction may cancel the sale, retain payments as liquidated damages, or resell the property without reserve. The purchaser remains liable for any deficiency and all costs of resale, storage, handling, and collection. In no event shall the liability of Bridge’s Auction, its agents, consignors, or shippers exceed the purchase price actually paid for the item. Bridge’s Auction and its consignors make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that the purchaser acquires any copyright or reproduction rights in any lot sold. All catalogue text, images, and related materials remain the property of Bridge’s Auction and may not be reproduced without prior written consent. Buyers may be added to Bridge’s Auction’s mailing list for future auction notices and may unsubscribe at any time. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. The buyer/bidder agrees that any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or any sale conducted by Bridge’s Auction shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of New Jersey, and the buyer consents to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
