Rago is proud to present two sessions on February 5th, starting with The Ellison Study Collection (Lots 100-184) at 11 am EST. Featuring more than 80 examples, this selection spans works of art pottery from revered makers including Adelaide Robineau, Hugh C. Robertson, Charles Fergus Binns, Fulper Pottery, Union Porcelain Works, and Ellison's favorite--the "mad" George E. Ohr--for a wide-ranging offering that delights in the dialogue of objects. Following the Ellison session at 1 pm EST is American & European Art Pottery (Lots 200 - 314) presents a curated offering of pre-WWII ceramics, featuring examples from some of the most renowned figures of the era. Leading the selection is an exquisite inlaid jar by the Grueby Faience Company, accompanied by a rare vase from Fritz Albert for Teco Pottery and much more. *Please note that the lot numbers skip from 184 to 200*.
