Our May 15, 2013 auction features the 50-year collection of the late Veronica (Ronnie) Riefler Strathmann of Pittsburgh, PA, past president and long standing member of the Lowell Innes Chapter of the National Early American Glass Club (NAGC). Exhibition and publication records for pieces in Strathmann collection include the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania and Lowell Innes' Pittsburgh Glass 1797-1891. This sale also includes the final installment of the collection and reference library of the late Miriam Mucha, former curator at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and past president of the NAGC, selections from the private collection of Kenneth Lyon, past president of the NAGC, the Lorraine Galinsky collection of Long Island, NY, the final installment of the Virginia & Vladimir Weiss collection of Audubon, PA, art glass from the collection of the late Rudolph Evers, part one of the Wilbur and Jean Rudisill collection of open salts, private collections from NC, FL, CA, CT and MA, plus other consignments.
