Exceptional Artifact & Collectible Auction: Native American Relics, Hardstone & 1835 J.O. Lewis Lithographs
This auction features one of our most diverse and carefully curated offerings to date, including high?end Native American artifacts, COA?certified pieces, rare hardstone celts and axes, and exceptional Archaic and Woodland material from long?established Midwestern collections.
A highlighted category in this sale is a remarkable group of original 1835 J.O. Lewis hand?painted lithographs, published by Lehman & Duval as part of The Aboriginal Port Folio. These early portraits represent some of the earliest published images of Native American leaders and are highly sought after by collectors of historical Americana and fine art.
Additional categories include Historic Western Plains artifacts, South American pottery and cultural material, rare jewelry from global collections, pocket knives, lighters, antiques, artifact reference books, and a portion of a large baseball card collection that will continue across future sales.
All modern reproductions are clearly identified. Every item is cataloged with accuracy, transparency, and care, allowing bidders to participate with confidence. Whether you?re an advanced collector or just beginning your journey, this auction offers outstanding opportunities across multiple categories.
Feature lots will be Lot 401 Center, Lot 100 Left and One of our better blades, points or an axe that is north american on the right. Im thinking a blade on each side of the 1835 print which is 401 would look cool for the 3 main featured lots. Having them angled opposing directions on the pictures. Ill still be working on this more than likely by the time you read this.
