Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions of the sale represent an agreement between Kooroshrad Jewelers Corp, its subsidiaries, representing its consignors and the bidder regarding any items being sold. Bidding on an item indicates your understanding and acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
Bidding Information
Kooroshrad Jewelers Corp, from hereafter referred to as auctioneer, runs its auctions through LiveAuctioneers. The auctioneer makes every effort to execute all bids, but can not be held responsible for Internet issues or outages as it may affect an auction. At the auctioneer's discretion, we reserve the right to not accept a bid or to withdraw an item for any reason. The buyer will be the highest bidder as acknowledged by the auctioneer, who has the sole discretion.
Any dispute over the auction process is decided solely by the Auctioneer and will be deemed final and binding. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to pay careful attention to the process. The auctioneer will not refund or rescind a sale in which the winning bidder claims to have won a bid mistakenly or unintentionally. If you accidentally win a lot you are still liable for payment.
Payment is due 48 Hours following the close of the auction.
Outstanding invoices will be charged 72 hours following the close of the auction.
If payment is not made the credit card used to register for the auction will be automatically charged.
Non-paying bidders or bidders who do not abide by these terms will not be allowed to bid at future auctions.
Bidders may be required to register, present a valid ID, and or credit card.
Guarantees
All items are sold As-is, where-is. We do not accept returns and do not give refunds.
There are no warranties of any kind, including to representation of age, origin, condition, restoration, dimensions, authenticity, provenance, or authorship. Any condition reports, artist, authorship that are part of an item?s description are the opinion only of the auctioneer, and do not represent facts or guarantees that may substitute for research and inspection of items by the bidder.
The auctioneer makes no guarantees that any item of a mechanical nature is in working condition when it leaves our premises, regardless of whether it was working prior to the auction.
Fine Jewelry is guaranteed regarding gold content and authenticity of diamonds. Authenticity and grade of all other stones are not guaranteed.
The auctioneer makes every effort to accurately describe items being auctioned, however, written and oral descriptions should in no way be considered a guarantee or accurate.
Old and antique items have inherent imperfections. Any estimates listed with auction items are solely based upon an approximation of the range within which an item may sell for, as determined by the auctioneer, and in no way represents the value or selling prices of those items. Disputes
Any dispute of the authenticity, age, condition, or authorship of an item, after the sael, must be made within 10 consecutive days of the auction sale date. Written and signed testimony in dispute must be presented within 16 consecutive days of the sale day from at least one recognized expert, agreed upon by the auctioneer, of the artist or object in question. Judgement by an expert based on images is not acceptable. Negative judgement must be absolute, not ?possibly,? before there is any rescinding of the sale of a disputed item.
Disputed items must be received at our Gloucester office in the original condition that it was sold, within consecutive days, of the sale date. Any damage, alteration, shipping damage, cleaning, will disqualify an item for refund.
The agreement to rescind the sale is at the sole discretion of Kooroshrad Jewelers Corp. If agreement is made a refund in the amount of the purchase price plus applicable taxes.
The auctioneer will not reimburse any shipping or delivery costs associated with the return of the item. By bidding the bidder agrees to the terms regarding returns.
Payment
Successful bidders will receive an invoice following the close of the auction. Invoices will be sent via email and also available through the LiveAuctioneers dashboard.
Payment can be made through the LiveAuctioneers platform, using a major credit card.
Buyers can contact the office to arrange payments via cash, wire, or check. Check payments will be subject to a 10 day hold to ensure clearance of the check.
Check payments can be made to Kooroshrad Jewelers Corp.
Items will be shipped within five business days following successful payment.
We are not responsible for any fees charged by LiveAuctioneers payment platform.
Sales Tax
All sales are subject to sales tax commensurate with local laws and ordinances. To be exempt from sales tax please furnish a resale tax certificate through the LiveAuctioneers Platform prior to the close of the auction.
Buyers Premium
The hammer price, as executed by the auctioneer, is the final sale price. A buyers premium of 12% is added to all hammer prices of lots.
Sales tax, credit card fees (if applicable), shipping costs are added to the hammer price and along with the buyers premium constitute the total final purchase price.
Shipping/Pickup
We offer in house shipping. The bidder is responsible for any and all shipping fees, including but not limited to, shipping cost, packaging cost, import duties, taxes, and tariffs.
Items are available for pickup by appointment only. Bidder is responsible to bring any and all packing materials needed to pick up. Staff is not available or able to help move or load items. Appointments are available Tuesday-Friday between 10am and 4pm. Payment must be cleared before an item is able to be picked up.
We only ship to the address used at checkout. We will not drop ship nor ship to a different address.
Items not picked up within 45 days of the auction date will be considered in default and become the property of Kooroshrad Jewelers Corp.
Autopay
If you have not contacted Duck on a Pig Auction Gallery to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
Online purchases from Duck on a Pig Auction Gallery may be subject to sales tax. Please see the following for more details. If you are tax-exempt, you can submit your tax-exempt certificate to prevent the collection of tax. Learn more about tax-exemption.
