The Summer Edition | Saturday, June 6th at 9am PST Circa Auction is pleased to present The Summer Edition, a curated sale celebrating indoor-outdoor living through an expansive offering of sculptural garden furnishings, iconic midcentury design, and collectible contemporary works. This season?s auction places special emphasis on mosaic-tiled garden sets, faux bois sculptural seating and planters, and one of our strongest selections of Willy Guhl forms to date, including rare and highly sought-after examples sourced from Europe. The sale brings together an eclectic mix of celebrated designers and makers whose work bridges architecture, craftsmanship, and functional art. Highlights include pieces by Willy Guhl, Roger Capron, George Nakashima, Pierre Chapo, Gio Ponti, Vladimir Kagan, Osvaldo Borsani, Mathieu Mat?got, Warren Platner, Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, De Sede, Paul McCobb, and Eames, alongside distinctive garden and decorative works by Italgarden, Gainey Ceramics, Biot, and faux bois artisans from across Europe. Collectors will also discover works by Yaacov Agam, Alvar Su?ol, Ed Baynard, Paul Klee, Paul Guiramand, and Diego Giacometti, as well as lighting and decorative objects by Louis Poulsen, Gerald Thurston for Lightolier, Magistretti for Oluce, and BBPR Studio for Kartell. From sculptural concrete and mosaic garden installations to refined Scandinavian cabinetry, Italian modernism, French provincial forms, and bold postmodern silhouettes, The Summer Edition reflects the layered character of summer living: relaxed yet elevated, collected yet intentional.
