Internet buyers pay 25% buyer's premium & are not responsible for sales tax unless you are from the State of Florida and in that case you pay 6 1/2% sales tax unless appropriate exemption form is filed. All buyers that pick up at the gallery are responsible for FL sales tax unless appropriate exemption form is filed. A 22% buyer's premium for phone, absentee and in-house bidders is charged to the hammer price of each lot. Purchaser must pay 6½% FL sales tax on total purchase price, including premium unless appropriate exemption form is filed. Payment is due at the end of each sale. We give a 2% discount for using cash (In House Only), checks, and Bank Wire Transfers. Lots may have reserves or minimum selling prices. This confidential figure is set by consignor & MANATEE GALLERIES INC. Will exercise all reserve bids. The record of sale kept by the auction house is final in any dispute. MANATEE GALLERIES INC. reserves the right to hold property until checks clear. A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks. If a check fails to clear after second deposit, the purchaser will be held responsible for any and all fees incurred until we have collected good funds, including storage charges. Bad checks, fraudulent credit cards of purchases will be reported to the police and will be prosecuted by MANATEE GALLERIES, INC. to the fullest extent of the law. Purchasers who fail to pay in a timely fashion will face immediate disbarment from bidding on all INTERNET bidding sites and will be reported to other galleries. Buyers who fail to pay will be liable for any lost fees gallery may incur. All invoices for merchandise MUST BE PAID FOR WITHIN 7 DAYS. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS AFTER THAT DATE. All legal execution or prosecution will be in accordance with Florida law and will prosecuted in the state of Florida. MANATEE GALLERIES can provide a list of shippers and movers that have been used in the past by our customers. These shippers will pick up your items at Manatee Galleries after payment has been received, and will pack, insure and ship to you at your expense. The companies have our catalog and will be able to give you an estimate for shipping when you call or email and give them the lot numbers you are interested in or have successfully purchased. We highly recommend that potential bidders obtain shipping estimates, especially when bidding internationally. You are always welcome to arrange for shipping with a company of your own choice as long as they will pick up items at Manatee Galleries. All shipping arrangements and payment for shipping should be made directly with the shipper of your choice. You must provide Manatee Galleries with a signed authorization indicating your name, sale date, lot number and choice of carrier, then you must fax or scan this back to us. The majority of the Asian antiques come from the Ambassador Petri collection, therefore the fine antique porcelain and works of art included in this auction are fresh to the market and have not seen a saleroom in 75 years. Many of these items have been in the family for over 100 years, so please be assured that you are bidding on these Asian works of art for the first time in many decades.
