The bureau comes from the prominent Art & Design Collection of James (Jim) and Rose Ryan. Also from the Ryan Collection is a 1920 Art Deco wrought iron and marble accent table by Raymond Subes, with a hand-wrought four-legged base, iron tassel details, and a distinctive Rouge luxury marble top. Additional furniture highlights include works by Stickley, Charles and Ray Eames, Warren Platner, Peter Hvidt, Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, and Harry Østergaard. Carousel highlights include Boblo Island’s 1906 Illions “Middle Row Jumper,” along with works by Friedrich Heyn, Gustave Bayol, and A.E. Anderson.
