Decorative Arts Sale - Session One

Pook & Pook, Inc. will host a two day fall decorative arts sale on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24 and 25, beginning at 9AM both days. The sale will comprise over 1700 lots in various categories including American, Continental and Asian furniture, Asian art, paperweights, porcelains, fine art, scientific instruments, textiles and many other decorative objects. The sale will begin with the collection of paperweights from Barbara Landale Stitt of Philadelphia. Her collection, stemming from an early interest in her parents passion for antique and contemporary glass, continued throughout her life. As a research biochemist at the Temple University School of Medicine, Barbara brought a scientist?s analytical perspective to collecting and maintaining detailed records.
