The Hans Sachs Poster Collection - II - Day 3

This past January, Guernsey's held the first of three auctions devoted to the important Dr. Hans Sachs Poster Collection. The first auction, containing 1,233 posters within nine categories (art, products, travel, propaganda, war, etc) were sold without reserve to an international audience which included approximately twenty museums. We're now pleased to announce that the second auction, the Dr. Hans Sachs Poster Collection, Part II, will be held on November 22, 23 and 24. Like the first event, it will be held live in New York City while absentee bidders can either submit written bids, bid on the telephone or participate in "real time" on liveauctioneers. As we did for the first auction, a handsome, comprehensive catalogue is being prepared for the second event. Part II will contain approximately 1,300 posters that are equally rare and, in many cases, quite extraordinary just they were in Part I. For example, there will be nine very rare Secession art posters in the second event. The catalogue for the second auction is $40 + shipping ($12 in the US, $88 internationally). A limited number of catalogues from the first event remain available. Guernsey's accepts Master Card and Visa for catalogue payment.
