RULES: All bidders are required to read and understand these rules before bidding. RULE #1. Buyer understands and agrees that registering and bidding at a Continental Hobby auction obligates that buyer to accept and pay for any and all lots hammered down to his/her bidder number as a result of his submitting an online bid. Discrepancies, re-auctioning and all disputes are settled at the auctioneers discretion after the sale is completed. RULE #2. Attending bidders agree that all items purchased are to be payed for in full on the day of auction. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold any purchases made by personal check until such check has been cleared by our bank. RULE #3. All attending buyers agree to pay a 5.5% Wisconsin Sales tax all purchases unless an official Wisconsin Resale certificate has been filled out. Tax certificates have to be presented at the auctioneers discretion. Bidders can only use resale numbers registered to them or their company. Brokers must have their own Tax number and accept the full responsibility for the conditions of the items they purchase. RULE #4. Mail, Internet, Phone and Left bids are accepted; phone bids with prior arrangement. Shipping and packing charges are calculated within 24 hours folllowing the auction. No items will be shipped before full payment is received by Continental Hobby. USPS is our preferred shipper. Damage claims are rare at Continental Hobby, but if they happen, we will refund/settle only when and if the carrier reimburses Continental Hobby. This may take from 6-8 weeks. Returns are allowed ONLY if a gross description error has been made in the catalog or on the internet site. Continental Hobby is the sole judge for any returns. These issues MUST be brought to our attention no later than 10 days after the auction date. RULE #5. There is an additional buyers premium that will be added to all auction purchases using Live Auctioneers which is 10%.
