Roscoe & Nadine Buchanan Estate Antique

Roscoe & Nadine Buchanan were well known antique collectors and dealers in Morristown, Tennessee during the 1970s and 1980s. Roscoe died in 1990 and Nadine kept the shop, Buck?s Treasures open a few more years, then packed up the contents and took it home, where it remained until her death last year. The couple collected widely from clocks, which we sold last summer at an auction, and now, the contents of the residence. We have early chests of drawers, blanket chests, pictures, primitive furniture, a few clocks, marble top pieces, a good East Tenn. Walnut Jackson Press, New England step back cupboards, dry sink, Rosewood Melodeon, pocket knives, watches, some jewelry, left over from other estates that did not get finished are some Cherokee River Cane baskets, early Southern and Tennessee pottery, coverlets, desks, lighting, a vintage fire truck from LaFrance with huge iron wheels, cradles, folk art and currency to sell. Vintage toys, candy containers, an ornately carved Kentucky Secretary/Press top circa 1790 and all sorts of surprises. At the conclusion of the online part of the auction, a large offering is going to be auctioned of as found pieces a sort of ?Treasure Trove?, some of which needs repairs or could be used as parts and pieces. Strawberry Plains, Tennessee is close to Interstates 40-75 and 81. There is a 20% Buyers Premium and dealers must bring their resale certificates if they intend to purchase for resale.
