By registering to bid, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions with no exceptions and understand that you are entering in to a contract to abide and accept these terms. Bidder Registration: It is recommended that Bidder Requests be submitted at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each auction. Once we have received your request, Salmagundi will approve or respond by email requesting that you contact us via telephone to complete the process. Additionally, as our auctions are approximately one week apart, Live Auctioneers stipulates that you must apply separately for approval at each auction. However, bidders approved for one auction will be given preferential status for approval on any subsequent auctions in the "cycle." Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. Your bid is a contract. If you are the successful and winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on from the seller. Descriptions are given to the best of our ability and knowledge. No statement in these terms shall be deemed a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability on the part of Salmagundi. Please contact us to resolve any questions before bidding. All lots are sold to the highest bidder AS IS, excluding shipping charges and sales tax, if applicable. Live on-floor bidders will take precedence over online bidders if the amount bid is the same. In the event of a tie or dispute, the Auctioneer has sole discretion to choose the successful bidder. All items offered online will have a minimum starting bid as displayed on the online catalog. Online bids lower than the posted minimum will not be accepted. All successful online bidders will be contacted within 72 hours after an auction to arrange payment method. All sales are final. There are no returns or refunds. For payment, only American Express, Visa, or MasterCard is accepted and payment must be received within 7 days of the auction. No Pay Pal or Western Union, no exceptions.
