November 2 - Estate Auction

November's showcased lots present coveted silver items and collectible artworks at Michaan's. Among Fine Art estate offerings are paintings and sculpture; Jewelry often features period selections and natural jadeite jade; 20th Century Design lots commonly offer artisan furniture and lighting and the Furniture & Decorative Arts section often includes period decor and furnishings. Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains and scrolls often seen at auction. Highlights for the month of November include an amethyst and silver jewelry suite by Barry Kieselstein-Cord, a collection of seven Chinese export gouache paintings of unconventional subject matters, Sidney Tilden Daken's oil painting titled 'Redwoods' and numerous sterling flatware sets.
