Magic: The Collection of JP Jackson

Our first sale of 2015 will feature the collection of JP Jackson of San Diego, California. Known to his countless friends as an expert on American-made magic apparatus, JP gathered a fantastic assortment of the objects he knew so much about. From Okito-made props to rarities from the P&L factory, from Owen and Thayer props to mint-in-box Merv Taylor gimmicks, he stockpiled what can best be described as the inventory of the magic shop of every collector's dreams - in his home. But Jackson's collection did not include apparatus alone. He also assembled a respectable library and filled his walls with posters of past masters of the art, as well. All this, and more, including choice ephemera from selected collections, will be featured in the auction.
