The Salmagundi Club, at 47 Fifth Avenue in New York City's Greenwich Village, will host its famous Annual Spring Fund-Raising Auctions of works by artist members in all media, including oil painting, sculpture, fine-art graphics, and photography. Works at auction can be viewed at the Club from Monday, Macrh 2, through Friday, March 27, and online beginning Wednesday, March 5 at Live Auctioneers where online bids will be accepted during the auction events. The first Auction will occur on Friday March 13. The Second Auction will be on Friday, March 23 and the 3rd and Final Auction will take place on Friday, March 27. All auctions will begin at 8pm (EST).The semi-annual recurrence of this event is eagerly anticipated by art collectors familiar with the well-known quality and diversity of works by Salmagundi artists. Every Spring and Fall avid collectors gather in the Club's large Upper Gallery to purchase pieces of lasting beauty and value at prices far below those at commercial galleries. At this Spring's 2015 event, approximately 200 beautifully executed works of art will be on display.
