Brusberg Gallery: Final Sale
Dieter Brusberg was active more than five decades as a gallery owner, art dealer and collector. As co-founder of the Art Cologne and guarantor of high-quality art, he exhibited regularly at major trade fairs such as Art Basel or TEFAF in Maastricht. From the gallery and collection inventory, we once again offer interesting original works, prints and sculptures. Ernst Wilhelm Nay?s drawing from the drawings of fishermen and dunes that originated during summer stays at the Baltic Sea is among the special highlights. Noteworthy is also the painting ?Zeitraum 1993? by Horst Antes from the typical but less known series of works of date images as well as the lithography by the German Dada artist Kurt Schwitters and the symbol charged, neo-expressionist portrait ?Reinhard? by Berlin painter Thomas Lange. Friends of sculptural work will find in Dietrich Klinge?s small bronze ?Ailanthya? an interesting collectible while Ruth Tesmar?s woodcut ?Walter Benjamin? impresses by its imposing dimensions and elaborate design.
