Cornelia was the daughter of J. Howard Bridge, assistant to Andrew Carnagie, Herbert Spencer and Henry Frick, who became curator of The Frick Art Collection(1914-1928)in NYC. Many items in this sale were originally in Mr. Bridges apartment in the Hotel Des Artistes, 1 67th St, NYC when working with Mr. Frick.
