Lanterns - and Austrian Dachluhren, magnificent clocks of the Empire and Biedermeier, as well as mantel clocks from the House of LeNoir, carriage clocks and ?Tischzappler? reflect the whole multifaceted nature of the art of clockmaking. Other highlights of this auction include a Pendule Religieuse of the renowned master Jacques Cogniet and an Empire Mantle Clock with glass dome from around 1820. Furthermore a monumental Empire style mantel clock and a clock with original chest made around 1700, are among the most outstanding works of this auction.
