The November 9 auction will offer American Furniture and Decorative Arts showcasing furniture and decorations from the Colonial period through the Federal and Classical styles to the mid-19th century. Silver, ceramics, needlework, mirrors, Chinese Export porcelain, quilts, American Indian art, rugs, paintings and historical, decorative and Audubon prints will also be offered. Among the FURNITURE and DECORATIONS are a pair of Federal fold-over card tables, Baltimore (lot 3278); a Federal butler's desk, Baltimore (lot 3336); a Federal tall case clock (lot 3255); a painted paneled blanket chest over drawers, Eastern Shore of Maryland (lot 3173); a pair of brass Sinumbra lamps (lot 3188); and an elaborate Classical gilt-wood and composition convex mirror (lot 3308). Also of interest are an aubergine and white quilt from Hawaii (lot 3163) and an oval portrait miniature of Abraham Lincoln, signed C. Albert Browne (lot 3354). AMERICAN INDIAN ART offers a Sioux beaded hide vest (lot 3313) and a San Ildefonso blackware pottery plate (lot 3188). PRINTS include examples after John J. Audubon, including Pinnated Grous (lot 3126) and Hooded Merganser (lot 3122). PAINTINGS feature works by James Henry Cafferty (lot 3031) and William G.
