Thank you for your patience. Dr. Daniel Stevenson was a well known WWII Vet who was a Cornell University graduate, played Polo his entire life, loved and worked with horses. His military career took him to Manila, where he played Polo and won trophies, France & Germany where at the end of WWII, he had 75,000 horses under his care that he relocated to assist in rebuilding the countries in Europe where he served. After WWII, he served as one of the Judge panel in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden, where he worked on some of the atrocity trials. Lots of military items, Polo and Nazi items from this estate. Also swagger sticks, canes & lots of Polo, Archery & Golfing silver trophies, one of which is a 16" 1949 Esso Sterling tray made in Argentina that weighs over 2 pounds. From another estate, we have pottery made in the late 19th century from J. B. Leathers of Mount Eagle, Penn., even items made by his children Anna & her sister, and signed by them, dated 1888 & 1889. We have a large Cherokee Indian pottery and basket collection, including some Western Indian rugs. We also have face jugs and Southern folk pottery. One estate has an Ebel watch in 18K yellow gold made out of a US $20 gold piece, along with American period furniture, lamps, a 1956 Miss Pepsi dress worn by an attractive lady at Pepsi events in the Southeast. Many unusual pieces still coming in and being unpacked, hence the hopefully finished website will be on Friday afternoon. Please feel free to call with any questions you may have.
