Annual Thanksgiving Auction Day Two

Day two features a collection descended from the family of Emily Hall Tremaine of Madison, CT and Santa Barbara, CA featuring over 200 items of important art, exquisite furniture, and Irish and English silver. Her collection includes signed lithographs and original pieces from American painters Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, Ellsworth Kelly, Joseph Albers, Robert Motherwell. Steve Etnier, and Al Hansen, British artists Bridget Riley, and Ian Tyson and other well-known modern artists like Jean Arp, Victor Vasarely, and Ernest Trova. Rounding out this days offerings include US discharge papers signed by Abraham Lincoln, oil paintings by Johann Berthelsen, and fine American furniture.
