An excellent selection of Northwest, Eskimo and American Native Art & Artifacts. The bulk of the sale is comprised of two estate collection of northwest artists Danny Pierce and Philip Flash. Their collections consisted of Northwest coast baskets, Tlingit, Haida, Klickitat, Cowlitz, Pima, Apache, Hupa, Yurok, etc. Also rare Eskimo artifacts including hunting and fishing implements, Yupik and Inupiaq carved masks, Tlingit storage boxes, a rare marmot skin women's robe, bentwood boxes and buckets, paddles, halibut hooks, etc. Also included in the sale is a large collection of NW native modern serigraphs and Eskimo stonecut prints. Modern masks by Don Lelooska and David Boxley amongst others. The sale also includes plains Indian beadwork, strike-a-like bags, moccasins, and vests.
