Exorcist The Beginning/Dominion & Maasai

Star Wares Collectibles is pleased to present movie memorabilia from "Exorcist: The Beginning" (2004) and "Dominion: Prequel To The Exorcist" (2005) obtained directly from Morgan Creek Productions - two versions of the prequel to the scariest movie of all time - The Exorcist!

The setting for the movies was the Lake Turkana area of Kenya where costumer Luke Reichle obtained authentic Maasai tribal props, jewelry, and wardrobe.

The Maasai warrior tribe of nomadic pastrolists are descendants of Nilotic and Cushitic people originally from north of Lake Turkana over 10 centuries ago. Their life is dominated by their herds of cattle and livestock and they have largely managed to maintain their traditional ways, although this becomes more challenging each year. This is a fabulous opportunity for tribal artifact collectors all over the world to obtain these exceptional and authentic Maasai pieces.

The hyena heads were created for Morgan Creek by famed prop maker Gary Tunnicliff (Hellraiser) and the original and xeroxed prop sketch/artwork from the films was done by British artist and property master, Dominic Hyman.
