Antiquities from the Classical and New Worlds

This sale features an extremely diverse selection of antiquities, featuring the Oxford Collection of items excavated from Tell-el Amarna in the 1950's and the Leighton Wilkie collection of antiquities. Areas of interest include an array of Ancient Egyptian art, which include a wide range of faience, wood and bronze tools and weapons, many never or very rarely ever offered for sale. The Wilkie collection also includes numerous other bronze objects from other Near Eastern and European culures, such a Luristan and Etruria. Rounding out the sale is one of our trademark selections of art from the Pre-Columbian world, featuring West Mexico, Peru and Equador. This auction is one of the most diverse and scholastic offerings we have had the pleasure of presenting and we are sure every collector will find something they haven't seen offered in some time.
