With this array of jewellery on offer, we are confident that you will find the perfect piece! Lot 44 adorns our front cover and dates from the 1st millennium BC, taking its place as the oldest item in our sale. The Egyptian amulet was originally intended for use in a mummy‘s wrappings, and is in remarkable condition for its age. The estimate on this extraordinary pendant is £800-1,200. Accompanying the amulet is lot 45, two Ancient Egyptian jewellery components estimated at £300-400. Moving forward 3,000 years, our back cover features lot 197, a beautiful emerald and diamond bracelet. With a guide price of £10,000-15,000,this piece contains approximately 15cts of diamonds. Other lots to watch out for include lot 20, a Sri Lankan sapphire ring; lot 635, a sweet reverse carved intaglio horse and horn brooch; and lot 85, a regal sapphire and diamond necklace. Our designer section in this sale includes pieces by Garrard & Co., Tiffany & Co., Boodle & Dunthorne and Bulgari. Take a look at plate 6 and see how the Cartier pieces steal the spotlight. Lot 357 is a Cartier diamond ring, with an estimated 3.50cts central stone, estimated at £15,000-20,000. Other stand-out pieces by the French institution include lot 358, a cased diamond and enamel brooch, offered at £5,500-6,500. If you only view one item this sale, make sure it is Lot 128. This diamond single stone ring is not to be missed. The old-cut diamond weighs 4.05cts, is H colour with VVS2 clarity.
