June 11 - Estate Auction

The month of June is an undoubtedly exciting time at Michaan's Auctions, kicking off with the estate sale on Saturday the 11th. The Jewelry Department often features a variety of quality stones and certified jadeite jade. Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains and scrolls often seen at auction. Commonly held among Fine Art offerings are paintings and sculpture. The Furniture & Decorative Arts section regularly includes period decor and furniture. Estate sale highlights for the month of June include a truly becoming pansy brooch, an auction collection of Kiyoshi Saito woodblock prints, Russian Federation artist Viacheslav Vasilevich Kalinin's pastel "Card Playing Goat" and a beautiful platter by master of the painted porcelain George Leykauf.
