CST, 331 Highway 4 West, Ripley, Mississippi 38663 Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce the commission to sell at public auction museum quality furnishings from The Estate of the late Gene Ward of Ripley, Mississippi. Mr. Ward was born in Benton County, Mississippi in 1930. He moved to his home in the Gravestown community when it was built in 1938 and began working for the Ford dealership at Ripley in 1949. He later became a business partner in 1964 and was involved in its operation the rest of his life along with many other business interest. Gene began collecting cut glass, his first love, in the early 1960?s. He later expanded his purchases to antique furniture, silver, porcelain and other objects d'art.
