COMMISSION BID CONDITIONS 1. It is the onus of the Bidder to ascertain the success or otherwise of any bids. 2. If successful, the Bidder is required to settle and clear lots, immediately if local, or to forward a cheque by the next post if not, regardless of when collection is to take place. Payment must be received within 5 days from the date of the sale. Goods not paid for within this timescale may be re-sold. Debit cards are accepted. 3. Bids will be obtained for the lowest price, other bids permitting. A saleroom bid will however have priority, as will a previously lodged Commission bid. 4. Bids are to be 'rounded off' as follows: up to £100 in fives, over £100 in tens. Bids worded 'buy' are not acceptable. 5. BUYERS' PREMIUM: Bidders are reminded that there is a 17% Buyers' Premium (inc. VAT) on all lots 6. POSTAGE AND PACKING: Commission Bid purchasers requiring the dispatch of Lots MUST prepay P & P costs with their remittance for goods purchased. The Auctioneer must arrange both the packing and the dispatch.
