Asian Art: A Window into China

The art of China is hugely varied, and covers a myriad of styles, disciplines, techniques and periods. This collection gives you a glimpse into Chinese art, with highlights including a pair of tall ?Canton Famille Rose? baluster vases, crafted in porcelain and painted in polychrome, highlighted with gold, manufactured in the second half of the 20th century; a fantastic teadust-glazed bottle vase from the Daoguang Period; and a pair of Wucai, or "five color ware", bowls created during the Kangxi period (1662-1722), with European ormolu mountings, dating from the 19th century.
