Stevens Auction Company in association with Tony Neill Auctions of Savannah, TN have been commissioned to sell at public auction the home and antique furnishings from the estate of the late Dr. Jim & Thelma Carroll. Dr. J.W. "Jim" and Thelma Carroll bought the house in July of 1950. Well known and loved by all, Mrs. Thelma and their children Jimbo, Creed and Catherine called this house home for 66 years. As a testament to the family, the Hardin County Football Stadium is named for and remains the Dr. Jim Carroll Stadium. The Hinton Carroll House, ca. 1913 located in Savannah's Historic District at 90 College Street has always been a premier address in the city. This historic home is situated close to downtown, parks, and city recreational facilities. All homes in the area sit on large lots with shaded streets, and a true sense of community and family.
