Wright's semi-annual Scandinavian Design auction takes place in early November and features a rare Finn Juhl sofa as the sale's top lot. Estimated at $20,000-$30,000, this treasure from 1951 was made exclusively by Baker and epitomizes the cherished designer's clean lines and elegant craftsmanship. Alongside classic Hans Wegner, Paavo Tynell, Axel Einar Hjorth, and Børge Mogensen, the Scandinavian Design sale presents a wide array of forms, styles and price-points for all collectors. Other highlights include a pair of Skater chairs designed by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm, a Finn Juhl designed Judas dining table and a pair of custom Kaare Klint benches in original Niger leather.
