The Estate of Judith Stember Fellton Saturday July 31st, 11:00 AM 219 Johnsons Ferry Rd. Marietta, GA 30328 All items are from the estate with no additions. Judith Fellton was a resident of the Cobb County area since the 1940s. She was a graduate for the Arts Student League of NYC, co founder of the original Piedmont Arts Festival as well as one of the first Humane Society supporters for Cobb County. Both Judith and animal enthusiast husband, Herman L. Fellton were award-winning breeders and dog show judges worldwide. Founders of Doberman Rescue, DPCA/COPE and maintined the rescue center at her home until she died rescuing thousands of animals in her lifetime. They also owned and bred Arabian horses in Newnan, GA. The Felltons owned Getz Pest Control Company from 1953-1988. Mr. and Mrs. Fellton traveled worldwide to purchase antiques especially for their home on 18 acres including some items from the Estate of Orson Wells and items from "The Studio" once owned by Charles F. Naegele. Period English,American, and Oriental furniture dating back to 1780, limited edition bronze horse signed Deryl Goodnight, #4/9, 68" x 45" tall. Enameled sculpture by Caroline Montague, stacked marble sculpture by Jesus Bartista Maroles and Dickens leather books. Several antique and semi-antique Oriental rugs, a signed Jefferson reverse painted lamp. Vintage, antique and custom jewelry, Royal Worchester, sterling silver Japanese jewelry box, a red Tiffany vase drilled for a lamp. Period Oriental porcelains including green glaze dragon dish. Celadon, Chinese Export, Kutani, Famille Verte charger, Famille Rose, Imari Cloisonne, Blanc de Chine and more. Their home has been featured in Southern Living and Architectural Digest. Some of the available items have been loaned to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Hundreds of books, garden statuary and more.
