The Asian Cultural Council Auction 2017

Never in living memory that a signed work on paper by our National Hero Jose Rizal has been offered at auction. For the first time, pair of drawings by Rizal, done when he was writing the closing pages of Noli Mi Tangere, will finally cede from the descendants of Karl Ullmer, the friend and host of Rizal in Germany. A major Juan Luna from The Ramon J. Fernandez Collection and Felix Resureccion Hidalgo's "A Lady in the Moonlight" from the Don Eduardo Paz Collection are included in this sale. Likewise pieces from Tito and Elvira Manahan and Mrs. Marie Theresa "Bebe" Virata are some of the highlights of this highly important auction that will benefit artists in the pursuit of excellence.
