Always great to work with! Very professional and responsive.

Auction house missed that the item was restored. An additional photo of the interior of the bowl would have been helpful determining this. When I pointed out there was plaster in the bottom the auction house was extremely apologetic and accommodating and refunded part of the purchase price. (refund pending)

Live auctions hasn’t been very helpful with items I have bid on to see if I’ve won them the just show pending and then nothing I’m willing and ready to pay for transactions but nothing comes of it

I did not receive my item even though I paid for it. I have emailed the seller but not received a response.

They packaged my Terracotta figures extremely well and shipped them quickly. And I was most pleased with how quickly they sent me an invoice allowing me to pay for my items. I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.

Thanks, Live Auctioneers... You have greatly expanded my breadth insofar as finding rare items to collect. I do have some problems however with your search engine. You can help me find popular types of collectibles such as Asian artifacts, coins, jewelry, etc., but I cannot easily search less-popular categories such as (my passion) Pre-Columbian (Mayan, Aztec, Zapotec, Olmec, Veracruz, Colima, etc.). These tend to be tucked away among other Ethnographic items, and I worry that I have missed some because searching for them is so laborious. For example, I have just finished looking through an entire Ethnographic, Chinese, and jewelry sale that * may * have had some Pre-Columbian items... I could not search under a general category such as "Pre-Columbian" or "Ancient American"... At present I have to search under keywords such as "Mayan" or "Inca", one at a time, and I get tired of looking. Any chance you might add "Precolumbian" or "Pre-Columbian" as a general category, in the near future? Thanks, Prof. Mark Van Stone, Ph. D.

Ancient Resource is one of the Best!

Very good at all aspects.

Good prices for actual antiquities bought but too many fake "antiquities" listed as genuine.... they need to have less auctions and spend more time researching what they are selling to verify the accuracy of their claims... I've returned a fake (identified as such by multiple experts) and know others who have done the same. I've also corrected some of their descriptions which showed a lack of knowledge on their part.

I have one concern which I would be grateful to have passed on to Ancient Resource. I live on the other side of the world so can only ever bid on-line. The two items I purchased in a recent auction were at amounts at the top of my lodged bid-range, in one case significantly above the bidding-start amount. When I looked at the bidding history, in both cases, only my own bid, the winning bid was shown. This does not represent a bidding history and does not allay concerns that my bids were entered at a higher initial level than was necessary.
