Regarding the items they sell in fishing tackle, it seems they have no idea what they are selling. The auction texts are not informative at all-they show not more than what is obvious in the pictures. without any understanding, heart and soul, but above all without any interest in what they are selling. just all about money. this was my last time, now matter what they are selling.

One hundred year old fishing lures were purchased. They were placed in a bag with each other without anything protecting the lures from grinding against each other and the metal hooks. Ebay sellers do a better job of packaging.

Blanchard had a very nice auction and my items were well packaged, but not happy with their communication.

I have dealt with Blanchard's Auction Service over the years in person at their live auctions and most recently with on-line auctions. This auctioneer (Kip) is the MOST trustworthy and honest of auctioneers I have ever met... and I have met a great number of auctioneers over my 60 years of collecting antiques. I have traveled 4 hours one-way to Blanchards not only to attend live auctions, but also to view the objects I am interested in because I really trust this auction house. The trips were worth it. The descriptions given are very good. I do suggest, as would Kip himself as an auctioneer, or any other smart collector that, if at all possible, to preview items in person. I have never been disappointed. The staff at Blanchards is very, very attentive to customer service. Plus, super friendly. If you wish to deal with good old-fashioned, down-to-earth people who are not out to gouge or cheat, then I recommend Blanchards Auctions. It is rare to find honest and reliable younger generation auctioneers. Blanchard's fits the bill on both accounts!

They were very professional, they took great care in shipping my items and were extremely reasonable with their cost of shipping. No excess charges for that. Everything was great, I would certainly do business again.

They were absolutely wonderful to deal with and went out of their way to help arrange the shipping of a very large item to me far away from the auction location. I highly recommend them for quality, integrity and service-all outstanding!

Excellent description of the items was provided. They apparently were well aware of rustic hickory style of items and knew what to look for and describe in their write-up.

My purchase and payment for items was smooth through LiveAuctioneers. Blanchards Auction Service was prompt and courteous in our email and phone conversations. They transferred the items to be shipped through the UPS Store and the were packed perfectly. I was a bit worried with my items being light fixtures, but they arrived in exceptional condition. Both are beautiful, quality items. Looking forward to the next auction with Blanchards!

Have been going to Blanchard’s auction for years and it is always an enjoyable experience. With the online auction Kip Blanchard helped us load and secure our furniture personally.

The biggest concern that I have regarding purchases via online auctions is the shipping cost. The cost of shipping was very reasonable. I have made purchases from other online auction houses, and the cost was so expensive, I wish I would have never purchased the item. I would purchase from Blanchard Auction Service again.
