The overall experience was excellent but there was some confusion as to who I talk to for what issue
Excellent transaction and a great organization to work with! Some confusion as to who answers inquiries for different things (payment, shipping etc) once item bought till shipping complete Gallery or live auctioneers. But things were sorted out in the end.

Good histories.
There were three items in this particular lot, and Artemis Gallery was able to identify the prior owner of each of the 3 items. While this is obviously not as good as full provenience from the time of excavation, it is much better than a number of other auction houses. Many auction houses purposely hide whose estate an artefact came from, thereby losing 100 % of any provenance information that came before.
