Akiba changed the shipping terms AFTER the auction refusing to ship 'In-House "which increased shipping costs 3X.

I have participated in most of the Akiba auctions held for a couple years. It is my favorite auction house that I have found in America. Not only is there an excellent selection of items, I have never had a problem with any aspect of any transaction. Add to this, UPS Store 1937, does an excellent job of picking up, handling, and shipping of all my purchases. This is done at a very reasonable rate which makes a big difference to me. I no longer participate in any auctions held in NYC because of the excessive shipping costs. Thank heavens there are still some Red states left where doing business is still affordable.

I won this buddha that was supposed to be 12.25 "in the description (is this in inches) yet what I received was actually 4.25 inch tall and 2.5" wide. I've sent Liveauctioneers and Akiba Galleries emails last July 2, 2023 and I haven't gotten any responses. I spent a good amount of money to have this buddha shipped overseas.

This is probably one of the most efficient auction houses I have ever used. The item was exactly as described, the payment process easy, and the shipping VERY well organized. I received my item in less than a week!
