Their Jewelry appraisals are not accurate! I will Challenge their written appraisals! Stated both items purchased appraised at over $1, 020 for each of which I paid $400 and $200. Neither will retail for even $200. The 14kt white gold cross is so tiny, size for a baby, and the. 013 of diamonds on it can only be seen with a jewelers loop! I Only bid because these pieces appraised for so much. I can not retail these in my storefront.

no very satisfied over all but would like to understand when i have concerns of the item i want to bid on please make it more clear to have button that would void a bid made that one is not satisfied with?? it has happened in the past that was i make a bid and would like to retract that bid there is no place for that and out panic i make calls as fast i can which never gets thru and i wind up paying a hammer price because of the retraction of the price and bid after the auction which to me is unfair. that is the only complain i have and i know that other bidders are in same situation as i am and feel the same way why do we have to pay for something we dont want.

There was no disclosure that my item was one of several exact copies and I think that an auction house should disclose if an item is or is not one of several... It could bring more money actually but I was under the false impression that the ring I purchased was unique and antique but it seems to be new and I saw another one sell just yesterday... I like the ring but that was a disappointment as the whole reason I am bidding is for unique items. Just a thought...

The pictures are not of the actual item but stock photographs, however, the quality of the merchandise is excellent. I also had to return some items that were not correctly marked in the Appraisal report and I got the money refunded promptly.

I parchased a ruby ring. The ruby's color is described as intense red. The ruby I received is almost pink. In addition, the photograph in the appraisal is NOT the photograph of the ring aI received. It is clear to me that many new similar rings are sold and that the same appraisal certification given. The appraisal is most likely correct, but it corresponds to a ring with a different stone. I did not complain 1) the ring is of my liking, 2) even though the GIA color description does not match my my ring, I feel comfortable with the price I paid. Now I know what to expect.

Size of watch was difficult to gauge. Would be helpful to put year of watch so that time is not spent researching. It is in great condition and beautiful.

The fed ex delivery was awful. Apparently the shipper said the package couldn't be picked up at a location and could only be delivered mon-fri. I work Monday-fri. When I called to pick it up I was told that the shipper said I couldn't do that so fed ex was sending the package back. I had a lot of trouble getting them to rede liver the package before sending it back. Then I had to muss a whole day of work to stay home to get it. It was a horrible experience and if that's the only way they ship then I will never purchase from them again. I was very upset.

ring's center stone advertised at 1.68 carats, with a bogus GIA certification. I brought the ring to a local independent jeweler, whose GIA appraisal came in less than half of the GIA that came with the ring. The center stone measured only 1.19 carats per the local jeweler. All seller offered was a full refund. I already gave the ring as an Xmas present, how could I possibly send it back? They offered no other credit, partial refund, etc. Very sad people get away with false advertising.. On the plus side, the ring was still perceived by me as a "good deal", but there should have been some acomodation made to me. Not the way to do business.

I realize that appraisals are subjective.. However I brought the ring to a local reputable jeweler and had my own appraisal done. The diamond weight was roughly the same, however the pink sapphire stone described by the auction stated "1.68 carat weight". My appraisal stated the stone measured 5.90mm by 6.10mm by 3.60mm and the weight is ONLY 1.19 carats. How can one appraisal be a HALF CARAT OFF??? This severely diminished the value of the ring. As stated in the auction, retail replacement value showed $9, 310.00 My local jeweler recorded a replacement value of ONLY $3, 000.00 I want to know what will be done here??? This is not right. Regards, Craig

I haven't received the item I bought yet. I've been going back-and-forth with Westbury on how I can pay. They want me to transfer or pay with check, because I live overseas. In Thailand, where I live, the government has tight restrictions on how residents can transfer money out of the country... there are only 2 ways: 1) for education payments and must be made directly to the educational facility; 2) a foreign bank account in my name. Regarding checks, I haven't had a checking account in more than 20-years... who uses checks these days! I would like to pay via PayPal or my credit card, which is how I pay in every auction I bid in-ever... which is a lot, as I'm on auctions every week. I wish this could be resolved soon, but they haven't responded to my email in 5 days and every email I've sent them, I've had to chase them for an answer... very frustrating.
