ART OF THE WEST: Day One
Day One of Art of the West will commence with a fine collection of contemporary and 20th Century Western paintings. The auction moves into historic and contemporary bronzes and other sculptural works, with many by members of the Cowboy Artists of America, as well as an excellent selection of folk-art wood carvings.
ART OF THE WEST: Day Two
Day Two begins with works on paper, with offerings including a wonderful selection of Gene Kloss prints and a wide variety of both classic and contemporary original + editioned works. Native paintings will be next on the block, as well as important historic works by key New Mexico modernists. What can I say about Santa Fe Art Auction, other than they are totally professional. They aren't the cheapest buy out there, but I've never gotten a bad piece nor damaged shipment. They are growing and I think I know why.
