Good pictures help a great deal when making a decision to buy as well as a good description. Postage at reasonable cost and quick out the door.

I received the item I bid on. I am a knife collector and I expect a reasonable knife for my money. I received a knife that had been very abused. The handle was worn completely through down to the metal. This was junk and I tossed it aside. I sent a response to them and didn’t get a reply. I will never buy anything from them again. The knife was in bad shape. The picture and description made it look great. The blades appeared shiny and the handle also appeared intact. I am so mad and this knife is maybe worth twenty dollars. I paid around $100 for it. I will never buy anything again from them. Be very careful if you are silly enough to bid on anything with them. First time shame on them. Second time shame on them.

This was my first buying experience with Lakeland, but it won't be the last. I'm happy with everything about the transaction.

The best bids and the fastest shipper I’ve ever seen. Great items to bid on. Selection is diverse. I’ve won many bids and the attention to detail in protecting the items during shipment is the best. The glass, the coins, all are packed with the best material and utmost of care. Again, they are FAST shippers! The best!

The transaction went well, the vase was sent and all seems well. Pleased with the item. Was able to track ok too.

First rate operation

I may have contributed to this in some way, as I did not look at the information he posted but.... The pictures that were posted were not representative of the actual "stuff" Junk that I could have viewed at the local flea market. Yes, they are both silver with a meltdown value far less than the cost of the auction. I should have known, this gentleman's address was a dead giveaway to a "Thrift-type shop" rather than an antique store. I would not purchase anything through Auctioneer with this company again. All I can say is be really careful if you see something this company puts up for bid. Stay with the big guys. S.

I have purchased from them several times and it has always been great. Items are exactly as advertised. Great people to work with. Very unusual finds-exactly what I look for in an auction diversity at an affordable price.

The item is in excellent, almost pristine condition for something of its age, and was packed sufficiently to make the cross-border trip. The item itself was definitely worth the cost of purchase, and I have no complaints regarding my direct dealings with Lakeland staff. However the same cannot be said of the shipping method selected by the Auction House. Lakeland insists on using UPS as a carrier, and they charge extremely high brokerage fees for international packages on top of the already-high shipping charge. To add insult to injury, I was forced to personally reconcile my item with Canadian customs before UPS would complete the delivery, leading to a major delay in the item itself arriving. Overall an excellent auction house, just be aware that you may be burned by UPS if you can't pick up your item/s locally.

The bid I won was what I received and in a timely manner.
