You didn’t address that the lamp had been dropped, broken and repaired. The harp is uneven and you can see the attempted repair. So sad there was no mention on the description. It is lopsided. Sad.

This auction house's shipping policy allows you to avoid the agony of contacting overpriced 'local' shipping agencies.

Overall a very good transaction, and very much appreciated how Kensington House handled the packing and shipping. This made the transaction much easier and I didn't have to hassle with a third party shipper. However, I would like more photos and detail of items up for auction. The item I won wasn't quite up to what I expected, but OK.

need to improve shipping. too much time spent on shipping arrangements. some of the cost of packing and shipping is cost move than the bid! great idea but not everyone is on the same page

I will never bid at this auction house again because their default was to charge me $78 to ship an art book that cost $80 across the U. S. by ground. An ugly appeal lead to a reduction in the shipping fee, but it was still 7 times what I typically pay to ship a book that size the same method. Further, the book's slip cover and jacket were in worse condition than described on the auction site. Bad experience! Bad for the auction business!

We buy from a lot of small auction houses around the northeast USA as well as online auctions across America, UK and Europe. I am continuously impressed at the unusual variety and fresh products Kensington Estates Auction introduces at each of their sales. My one complaint is that there are often too many items to bid on, despite the average sale seems to limit itself to only two hundred or so pieces. Thank you for keeping the quantity of offered material low and the quality interest high. You know how to both please and entice buyers to help them focus more often on where the wild things are regardless of it being Sendakian.

The auction house was great. There was an issue with PayPal and the auction house was quick to respond and communicated regularly including initiating a follow up call to see if the issue was resolved. Look forward to working with them again.

I sent two e-mails with instructions where to ship. They ignored my instructions to ship to my domestic USA address and shipped to my Canadian address costing me at least $50.00 in postage and customs clearence
