So glad I found a great local place!

good quality item

Shortly before the auction started I requested the condition of a lidded urn that was in a group of three items in in the lot. I was told "Overall good condition." While I appreciate their timely response, which is not exactly common, the lid had damage in the form of a spider crack with a chip. I wouldn't have bid as high if there was no condition report or if the report was accurate. I sent a follow up message that was ignored.

Archaic forms of payment,-don’t accept credit cards from outside of their place, wires only which would cost you additional 30 dollars. Very slow in response by emails. If you are picking up an item from them, they’ll request additional 50 dollars!!! I’m not kidding!! Also, for the online purchase you have to pay 5 % of the item price, not speaking of auctioneer’s premium.... Very misleading information on the site, they hide all these additional payments until you purchased the item. Very bad experience with auctioneer although the item is fabulous. Shipping company was very nice at the beginning but shipped the item 4 days later than promised... Would never buy from them again and don’t suggest it for others.

Taking credit cards would be great. Other than that, no problems, great customer service.

The clock I purchased was MUCH larger than the pictures showed. I can't fit this clock in my home. Disappointing.

Very helpful on load out. Larger auction house run like a family business. Jerry is great auctioneer.

Don’t have the items yet, so it is difficult to rate the transaction. The auction house was very responsive to questions for condition reports and photos. Disappointed that they do not accept credit cards except in person. This seems overly restrictive for customers. The phone personnel were responsive and friendly.

Having to go through bank to do a wire transfer, is taking up my time will have to think about buying in the future, should try to figure out how to secure a credit card much easier for me

Is this Gallery closing?? That was my impression. It now sounds that they are staying in business as the Dallas Auctions. Am I right???

The issue that I don't like is arranging shipping. Otherwise they were very good. I would recommend them to someone else.

This item was described as 19th century but when received it is obvious that it is less than 20 yrs old! Please call me and make suggestions, andy **********

Shipping is done by 3rd party, not by the auction house. It wasn't easy to find 3rd party shipper that will send my lot to Canada. I might not bid again because of shipping difficulties I had.
