If there was an option for customer service I’d provide zero stars. Sent over a dozen requests for an update on the item, no response. The shipping charges were ridiculous considering the item was sent regular mail, without a complete address … meaning that I had to pay an additional $10 to complete the address and retrieve my package at this side … shipping of a 45rpm Vinyl single totalled $75 Description was mostly accurate but did not mention the tear in the record cover. Will avoid bidding on any future auctions from this company.

They make BIG profits from shipping charges!! Paid OVER 80.00 for 4-1 oz. in weight paper doll books!! NO special handling! They just threw them in a box and charged be 15.00 extra for each one! And threw in 4 tinyBISQUE dolls with this flat box!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! PLUS they did not include a lot that i won!! STILL trying to get my money back! ALSO they auctioned of REPRODUCTIONS without mentioning they were!!!! Worthless items i would never had bid on!!! BEWARE of this auction Co. Terrible experience!!! Held hostage to them!!!! Sad!

Block Auction House was very easy to work with and very professional. The descriptions were accurate, and the photos further enhanced the written descriptions. My items arrived just as they appeared in the photos. Block Auction offers in-house shipping, a huge plus as far as I'm concerned. The packing/shipping cost was reasonable, and the packing was well done. Shipping was fast, and my purchases arrived in the same condition as they had left the showroom floor. I was able buy several items that I had never seen at auction before, and I'm very pleased with my purchases. Great auction experience from start to finish!

Block auction house does not have an own phone number, does not answer emails and keeps your paid item, if you are not willing to use their shipper and his inflated price. They never returned my inquiry, just pointed to their printed conditions, which I did not read. My transport company (UPS) was even not able to find their office.. Of course Live auctioneers send me 3 short notices, that they will try to talk to Block. I never heard from them again either. The end of the story.? Block keeps my item, can probably try to sell it again and I lost my money.

The porcelain boxes in this auction were mint when purchased but not individually protected and wrapped for shipping. All were loose on two separate boxes then wrapped for shipping. Obviously these items arrived chipped, cracked and broken. What a shame, loss and waste of money all the way around! INTERNET BUYERS BEWARE! I am now out the cost of the items, buyers premium + the cost of shipping which was not cheep by any means! I have paid much less for shipping from overseas sellers and never had this problem!

Block auction resold my items after i paid for them. And to this day i have not received any refund of my money. I find them very dishonest Their communication is horrible.

Watch these people. Really bad experience. Item was photo dressed up and when I got it it was gross. They listed as "excellent". Then say that you have to report a problem within 10 days f auction. When it has to ship how is that possible. Really bad experience. Oh, and they misrepresented item. Not a "mies van de rohe 'chair. Hid the label and did not show real label in photos. Seriously. They are scam artist.

The description of the item was well defined. The pickup from the auctioneer was seamless. The lamp was well packed. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Sell did not work out so I asked for my money back and they would not return my money I had to go through PayPal to get my money back. This is a very shady place.

I thought the directions for shipping were somewhat unclear. My understanding was that I was to contact the person listed as an independent shipper was to be contacted, but was not familiar w/Block. However, my email to Block was answered immediately and upon rereading the instructions, they did make sense. Very happy w/item and all other aspects of transaction
