The people at Paul Arsenault were the best to deal with they actually care about their buyers and their merchandise

I read through this auction house's policies and it specifically states "When we have figured the different options available we will either-EMAIL or CALL, you letting you know to (get in touch with us) to verify that the, ship to, address that is provided on the invoice is correct and where you want it sent. We will ask if you want to have the shipment fully insured or ship it with the Carrier Provided Insurance-if any comes with it." However when i reached out to the seller i was immediately told we don't handle that call this phone number... nothing like their policies stated. It's their responsibility to update their policies and if they didn't handle any shipping like it clearly says they would then why not update your policies. I was never offered insurance aside from Goin Postal. I was never emailed about options like it states... i had told Goin Postal that i wasn't worried about cheap shipping but rather safe shipping. My masks were placed one inside the other and the only thing that separated a couple of them was 1/8th inch thick wrapping paper. 2 of my masks were placed inside one another without any packing. One of my masks... which the auction house stated the beads were loose came off and additional beads fell off as well due to packing. I notified the seller and was pointed out to read the policy over and i did and i have stated the truth. They passed me off to Goin Postal immediately... i followed policy to try and give them my shipping information and was told call Goin Postal. I did not get offered any other insurance which would of been needed right about now but instead i got a hostile response. Goin Postal... and I'm sure that they are very busy during this season... didn't even try to stabilize my masks or even notify me they shipped my items. They are still in the box as i received them and just really unhappy. This is my first time buying antiques on a online auction platform and this is what happens I won't do this again. Disappointed.

This is one of the easiest Auction houses i have dealt with. Super nice and efficient when I called them. Also provided shipping contacts on the invoice. I will definitely follow thus Auction house so I can buy from in the future. AAAA + + + +

Item is nice and accurate as it was described on site. Experience was okay over all. My only complaint was shipping. It was a little slow considering the amount I paid for it. Which leads me to the cost-I actually ended paying more for shipping than the item itself. I guess part of it has to do with the location as they are located remotely in Maine, and part of it has to do with the product, i. e. fragile china. I'm new to online auctions and this is one thing I have learned-stay away from bidding fine china, shipping will be expensive, or at least, get a shipping estimate beforehand.

I asked for the painting to be shipped overseas. The next day, once paid for, it was packed and ready to go. Their awesome shippers then came back with the lowest price from USPS for $122. The package was received within days in perfect condition. I'm VERY impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. I was most impressed with the speed of payment, getting the purchased item to the shipper, the shipper getting me a quote, and mailing. The shipping cost for me was very reasonable and a little less than expected. The package could have used a little more bubble wrap, but everything arrived in perfect shape. I liked being able to pay by credit card. They were very helpful when I called. Excellent experience.
