Initial contact with Cutler Bay Auctions was fine but delivery was unsatisfactory and terrible to be honest. I received a work without any packaging, bubble wrap or anything. In addition they charged me $200 for delivery. I wrote Cutler Bay Auctions a detailed note explaining this and have yet to receive a response. It’s been 5 days already and still no correspondence. In addition I asked several detailed questions about the artwork and was told it was in great condition. Yet I received an artwork on Masonite board with 2 chipped corners. Very dissatisfied and will not bid on anything with this auction house. I’ve been collecting fine art for approximately 8 years and never experienced anything like this. Really poor service. I will not bid on any works with them in the future. My advice is do great business in order to create loyalty and return business. Very dissatisfied.

This was the most positive and seamless buying experience I've ever had with any auction site. EVERY OTHER auction house should take a cue from Cutler Bay Auctions. The items arrived in perfect condition at an affordable price and in less than one week after the conclusion of the auction. Thank you for a great experience!

EYE AVOID PROBLEMS. I did not read the opinions of others, and I fell. Shipping costs to Spain 361 US $for 2 LB (1 kilogram). Initially he asked for 500, and with possibilities of 1, 000 US . Actual cost of shipping about 75/80 US . US $300 profit. In the dictionary this has a name. Hundreds, if not thousands of operations with the USA, and CUTLER BAY AUCTIONS appeared. AVOID IT

I contacted auction house right after the auction and paid the invoice. Cutler Bay is very slow on responding to my emails and shipping of the item. They sent me a tracking number and UPS says it's invalid. I'm not very satisfied with Cutler Bay Auctions and will not be using them ever again.

I have had several dealings with Cutler. Always a pleasure to work with, professional, trustworthy and attentive.

I was charged $183 to box and ship a 20 "x22" unframed painting. It was packed by UPS in a 24 "x30" x 6 "box by UPS, and arrived safely by Ground Delivery. I went to their local UPS Store website and used their shipping calculator and the shipping cost (without Cutler Bay Auction's discount) is $75.48, plus the packagnig cost of $15.00. Cutler Bay Auctions charged me $183. I guess Cutler Bay Auctions took $100 to deliver the item to their local UPS Store. As they probably took took 20 items to UPS in the same load, they made $2000 for that run. Judge for yourself, but I will NEVER buy from them again.

Excellent Auction House

They sold me a fake Montague Dawson painting. It is not an auction house it is a seedy pawn shop

I contacted the auction house the day after winning. They tried to overcharge me. Even after discussing their error they processed the higher charge. Another discussion to correct this. Five minutes after discussing the shipping charge that number went up in the email confirmation. Their answer to these errors was they were very busy following the auction. I will not do business with them again.

The Cutler Bay Auction house answered all of my questions immediately and were completely transparent with the provenance and condition of the piece. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the team that helped me throughout. I look forward to continue to purchase art from here.
